(Unpublished) Quest Mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
The Archeologists is a quest mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that I created as a design test for a job I applied to. It was created as a standalone adventure to show my skills in building a quest.
It tells the story of an adventurer that's been hired to locate and root out an evil spirit. He/she discover that the mission was given under false pretenses and has to decide whether to play along for the sake of gaining riches, or switch sides to help the spirits to go back to a peaceful rest.
In contrast to Norse and Norse Gleipnir, its story is completely fictional, and a part of a hypothetically larger quest.
I created the environment, designed the quest, wrote the dialogue and descriptions, and scripted the events in Oblivion's own scripting language. I spent about 60 hours creating it.
The module was built using The Elder Scrolls Construction Set and the original assets of the game was used, as well as the following material created by modders:
